We are a small company looking for a part-time employee to help with picking, packing, receiving inventory, and other daily needs for our shipping fulfillment warehouse in Sanford, FL on the border of Lake Mary. The employee will help in all aspects of warehouse operations as needed, including: picking and packing, taping, handling, shipping, kitting, and preparing of product for customer orders while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion. The ideal candidate is reliable, upbeat, and eager to grow with the company. Responsibilities Include: • Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in delivery area, prepare parcels for mailing. • Picking and packing products for orders. • Count, organize, and place materials and products on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards. • Assist with receiving inventory, unloading trucks, and checking in products. • Moving, lifting, and carrying materials of various weights. • Custom projects, which may include tasks such as poly bagging items, counting inventory, sorting materials, etc. • Must be organized and able to maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, aisles, and workstations neat at all times. Requirements: • **Must be able to pass Level 2 Background Check (Criminal and Drug Screening)** • Ability to work assigned schedule with regular attendance. • Ability to follow safety rules and promote a safe work environment. • Technology oriented – ability to work with scanners, tablets, PCs, etc. • Good communication skills and ability to follow work instructions and directions. • Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Must be accurate. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. – Meeting deadlines is a must. • Regularly required to stand for long periods. • Ability to lift heavy objects (10 – 50 lbs). • Ability to handle various temperatures depending on the season since the warehouse is not climate controlled. • Previous warehouse experience with picking and packing preferred although not required. Expected Weekly Schedule: Monday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Tuesday - Friday: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM Competitive hourly rates ($12 - $13 / hour) and performance bonuses.
