Prism Glass & Mirror, LLC is seeking a part-time Experienced Glazer/Shower Door Installers & Repairmen for a brand new and growing glass and mirror company. We cut and install all types of glass, shower doors, storefront windows and doors, partitions, table-tops, mirrors and mirrored walls, etc. Looking for dependable, self-motivated individuals to join our team. Join our new and growing company as Head Glazer, where you will be a key member of our team responsible for high quality and efficient installation of residential and commercial glass and related glass products such as windows, storefronts, mirrors, display cases, shower doors, etc. You will also develop new customers by identifying opportunities to sell additional work. Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs individually. Job requires time management, attention to detail, and customer service. We are looking for the right candidate who has a clean driving record, maintains appearance, has a positive attitude, cares about quality workmanship and is punctual. Job Requirements: • Glass Experience is Necessary 3 to 5 Years • Prior experience installing showers is a plus • Ability to measure accurately and use tape measures and levels • Must have basic knowledge of tools and their functions • Physical ability to work with ladders, scaffolding and related equipment required for glass installation • Must speak English fluently • Valid Driver License free of major blemishes (will be checked) • Must Follow Covid-19 precautions during work hours, including wearing a mask at all times, washing hands regularly and using hand sanitizer. All provided for you if you don’t have your own. Specific Responsibilities: • Loading and unloading trucks with what is needed for that day’s work • Ability to be left on the job with and without a supervisor • Install glass, mirrors, door and window hardware in replacement and new installations • Ensure the efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock of vehicle • Conduct accurate field measuring and cut flat glass and mirrors according to specified dimensions and patterns. • Cleaning and maintaining tools, inventory, and company vehicle • Must be able to interact professionally with customers in their home • Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions Pay starts between: $20.00- $35.00 p/hr. -OR- Pay by Piece Work (depending on experience we may offer hourly or on a contract basis that can lead to full-time, based on performance) Hours: 8am-4pm sometimes 5pm.
