Hands on education on pregnancy to bringing baby home. This class is perfect for those who are looking for a fast paced class in a fun, relaxed setting to learn about pregnancy, birth, and bringing your baby home. It is approximately a two hour session, where we will walk you through all the things you need. This session will help you and your partner feel confident about the birth of your baby and what to expect the first month of bringing him or her home. Here are some examples on what could be covered: Pregnancy: What is normal and when to seek help.Signs of labor: When to stay at home and when to go to the hospital.Covid 19 and what affects it will have on your delivery and postpartum.Pain management options and strategies to decrease pain. (We will try techniques)Your feeding options. (Bring your pump if you have it, I can help you set it up.)What to expect in the immediate postpartum period.Bringing your baby home.Newborn care.If you have questions, bring them! After the class you have access to me for questions up until your little one arrives. It's like having a nurse in your back pocket while you are pregnant. The class has hands on techniques and is taught by a registered nurse and lactation counselor, Amanda Ibanez, owner of The Mama Coach Amanda Ibanez.
