Nightwatch Systems Monitor Aquacultural Research Corporation (ARC) is seeking a Nightwatch Systems Monitor to join our team for Sunday evenings (4 pm to midnight) starting 2/14/20201. There will be opportunities for extra shifts as a sick time or vacation time substitute, as well as opportunities in other departments (packing, planting, etc.). Position Overview ARC’s Nightwatch Systems Monitor is a reliable, responsible and well-organized staff person assisting with after-hours monitoring of life support systems for the hatchery, Dennis nursery and Wholesale Operation. The Nightwatch Systems Monitor reports directly to the Hatchery Manager, is a team player, has excellent observational skills and communication. Responsibilities and Duties • Conducting hourly rounds to inspect that all operations are functioning properly and recording temperatures in a log • Greets and records people entering and leaving the property • Afternoon systems monitor coordinates with UPS • Alert concerns to the Hatchery Manager and General Manager • Assist with light repairs and adjustments • Perform other duties as directed, including but not limited to: 1. Changing filters 2. Cleaning pump baskets 3. Monitoring the generator when operating Qualifications and Skills • Minimum of a High School Diploma, preferred but not required • Excellent verbal and written communications • Ability to follow written or verbal instructions • Team oriented and reliable
