A Conference for Pastors & Church Leaders in Small Cities, Small Towns, & Rural Contexts Why the Small Town Jesus Conference? Small cities, small towns, and rural contexts are beautiful places, full of unique culture, community, and strength. But often, despite the popular opinion that they are blissful and problem-free, these same places are also full of brokenness, hopelessness, and despair. This makes smaller contexts wide-open mission fields, ripe for Gospel ministry. However, despite the fact that 98% of cities in Oklahoma have a population under 50,000, these places are often neglected by denominations, networks, ministries, & leaders. We need to hear again the call to take the gospel everywhere, to places big or small, because that is what Jesus told us to do.
