Maintenance Person The Maintenance person reports to the Property Manager. This is a full-time hourly, at-will position, requiring 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM.) with BENEFITS. They will perform various tasks related to the routine maintenance and repair of building. With experience in basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting and general maintenance work. Perform corrective, preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, on the building, grounds, irrigation, electrical fixtures and other equipment. Inspects the entire grounds, including parking lots and buildings, report to the Property Manager. Position Essential Tasks – • Follow written / oral directions to satisfactorily complete all assigned tasks working individually or with other staff; • Work to maintain and improve the common areas and facilities of development; • Power washing as directed; • Maintain Common Areas confidentiality as required; • Painting / Drywall repair as directed; • Laundry room maintenance, sanitation and cleaning as directed; • Minor plumbing and irrigation line repair as directed; • Use of a variety of power and hand tools to complete tasks as directed; • Woodworking to repair as directed; • Maintenance cleaning of shop and storage areas; • Maintenance and sanitation of dumpster areas; • Must be willing to become familiar and support all federal and state safety and security standards • Other tasks as assigned. Minimum Requirements – • High school diploma or GED • Good oral and written English skills • Must furnish documents allowing work in the United States • Must be able to obtain a favorable background check and pass a drug test Physical Requirements – • Walking and climbing stairs • Bending and stooping • Reaching • Pushing and pulling • Near and far vision (with correction) • Hearing (with correction) • Lifting (up to 60 pounds) Full Time + Excellent Benefits Medical, dental, paid holidays and vacation benefits are included Rate of Pay – compensation: to be determined Send cover letter & resume with full detail, include referrences
