Bring a friend, family member or neighbor and join us for this fun and exciting class. Introduction to glass fusing explains many fundamental concepts related to creating glass objects in the kiln. The class will start with a brief introduction and how to make simple cuts with a glass cutter. Glass compatibility, kiln preparation and operation, fusing, slumping and annealing will all be discussed. After a brief overview, you will work with a wide range of glass to make one 5-inch by 5-inch fused and slumped tile, and one frit mold of your choice. Your projects will be fired after the workshop and available for pick up a few days later. Fee-$55 per person. Beverages are provided.  (After completing this class you will be eligible to continue working in the village gift store glass lab for a nominal fee.) Therese loved her project. Not bad for a beginner!
