Hatha Yoga - Breathwork - Meditation
February Yoga with Jill
Balance the body and mind with rejuvenating Hatha yoga. Hatha yoga is an accommodating style of yoga that is focused asana, mindful breathwork, and meditation. A hatha yoga class is often slower paced, but can be challenging, grounding, or stimulating depending on the desired goal of each session.
You can expect Wednesday night’s class to be more relaxed and calm, leaning towards the restorative side, as we prepare the body and mind for rest. Saturday afternoons will be slightly more invigorating.
We will begin each class by flowing through the physical postures and end with guided breathwork and meditation. I look forward to sharing space with you all and learning about what yoga means to you!
Please bring your own mat. Sanitized props will be provided. Face masks are required to be worn throughout the entire class.
This class will be led by Jill Valentich. Jill completed her 200 hr yoga certification through Denver Yoga Underground. Certified in Hatha yoga, she believes that the physical practice of yoga is a way to prepare the body and mind for meditation. She loves teaching students of all levels and especially enjoys helping novice yogi’s discover just how healing a yoga practice can be.
