Description
Hi there!
I'm a wedding photographer in NYC, and I'm looking to add a video team to my company. My style is clean and crisp and really focuses on the storytelling, emotion, and candid moments of the day. I'm looking for videographers who are technically advanced and who can take a hands off approach while capturing natural moments beautifully. (For example, I don't need a video of a bride caressing her dress that's hanging in the window, and I don't need the couple to read their letters out loud for the video's sake. I'd much rather you capture whatever moments are organically happening.)
I'm looking to bring on an associate video team, so you'd really just be showing up for the day, capturing video and audio, and turning over the files to me. It's ideal if you love wedding videography but have no desire to run a business or look for couples. While this position is not salaried and is paid per gig, my hope and intention would be to have a team that would shoot many weddings with me throughout the year.
With my couples, it's very important that I create and support a sense of ease and joy throughout the entire process. It's a priority that everyone on our team is professional, encouraging, and truly loves what we do.
I am looking for experienced lead and second videographers who can run the show but are open to feedback to make sure our visions align. Pay is commensurate with your experience and skill, and I am looking to pay anywhere from $50 - $150 per hour. Looking for both lead shooters and second shooters.
Please respond with some examples of your work, some information about your experience, and some info on why you're interested. If you'd like to list your gear, general availability, and pay rate, that would be wonderful as well.
If you'd like to know more about me, here is my website:
I look forward to hearing from you!
David
