Vote NO on the upcoming election on March 9th !! The supplement levy will cost homeowners an additional 200.00 per one hundred thousand value on your property taxes. This means if your home is worth 500,000 you will pay an additional $1000.00 dollars a year on your property taxes. The levy has increased by 2 million dollars in two years not to pay for services listed such as safety and security, athletics,programs or services....it pays for salaries for teachers who have voted in policy where the starting salary has jumped from 32,000 per year to 42,000 per year! This equates in actuality to 42,000 for 6 months of classroom instruction! More over this levy sits on the backs of only home owners not businesses or renters in the school district. THIS IS BAD POLITICS, POLICY AND PRACTICE IF NOT JUST DECEITFUL!! VOTE NO!!!
