SARASOTA, FL — A derelict boat was removed from Sarasota's bayfront Monday, Sarasota police tweeted.
The 33-foot cruiser washed up near Hart's Landing during Tropical Storm Eta in November and was abandoned by its owner.
The owner could face charges for abandoning the vessel and could be responsible for repaying the cost to remove it, police said.
