Fertilizer Truck Spills Load On Hollywood Street While Trying To Avoid Crash

By Brooke Shafer, CBS Miami February 10, 2021 The driver of an 18-wheeler hauling fertilizer said he was forced to slam on his brakes to avoid being hit by another car, which caused his load to go flying into the street. This happened on Sheridan Street near 20th Avenue. Parts of the area were closed Wednesday morning for cleanup. The driver of the 18-wheeler told CBS4 he was headed down Sheridan Street when he noticed a speeding red pickup truck coming from the opposite direction lose control and cross over the median.
