Sydney Pollack captured this transcendent, spine-tingling, and utterly joyous event. The film has only recently been released to the public, and is nothing short of a revelation. Prepare for a shared spiritual experience as the untouchable icon soars from one chill-inducing moment to another. For those of us who have been missing the communal live music experience this promises to be an uplifting experience. 9:00 PM - GATES OPEN 9:30PM - SCREENING STARTS THE DRIVE-IN at Exposition Park is a new space for cinema lovers, proudly celebrating the work of women, BIPOC and LGBTQ voices. THE DRIVE-IN is located on the lawn of the iconic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum between the Olympic flame and the oldest palm tree in Los Angeles. FAQs: WHAT TIME CAN I ARRIVE? Cars will not be admitted before the allocated time. Cars are placed on a first-come, first-served basis, with SUVs and larger vehicles placed further towards the back HOW DO I REDEEM MY TICKET? Upon purchase, ticket will be emailed to you as a PDF attachment from Eventbrite. When you arrive to the event, please show the attendant the bar code on your ticket through your car window, either by holding up your printed version, or by displaying it on your phone or smart device. Attendant will scan it to check you in, and you'll be good to go! DO I NEED FM RADIO IN MY CAR? Yes. The film’s soundtrack will be accessible through your car’s FM Radio. We will provide you with the FM station upon arrival. If you have a problem with your radio contact a member of staff who would be able to assist with an alternative app. CAN I BRING FOOD / SNACKS? Yes you are welcome to bring food and drinks with you WILL YOU HAVE RESTROOMS? We have restrooms on site with a COVID trained attendant. Always follow social distancing in the line and wear a mask. REMEMBER TO TURN YOUR ENGINE ON EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE... As you will be running your battery non-stop so that you can listen to the film on FM, you run the risk of killing your battery. We do have jumper cables for those who need them! To eliminate the risk of your battery dying, remember to turn your car on every once in a while. BUT MIND YOUR HEADLIGHTS! Some cars have headlights that automatically turn on when the engine is turned over. There's generally a setting to eliminate that -- please make an effort to switch that setting so that your headlights don't beam on when you power on your car, as headlights wipe out the image on the screen. We will have cardboard and tablecloths on hand for cars that may need help with this. Let an attendant know if you need materials to cover your headlights. MIND YOUR DOME LIGHTS AND BRAKE PEDAL Try not to leave your dome light on for a stretched period of time as any lights can be distracting to the people around you. CAN I SIT IN MY TRUCK BED / PUT MY CONVERTIBLE'S TOP DOWN? or CAN I THROW THE HATCH OF MY HATCHBACK UP AND SIT IN THE BACK TO WATCH THE SHOW? Guests can sit in truck beds and have convertible tops down.
