Draft Commander Legends to support the NYLO Staff Come join us for our first ever 50/50 event at DFW GameFaire! Our hosts at the NYLO have a lot of staff who go through a lot to keep our event happening. Those who setup, cleanup, sanitize, and so much more. These positions don't get tipped for all their hard work. So we'd like to run an event where half the proceeds go directly to the staff who take care of us. For February we are doing a Commander Legends Draft of Magic the Gathering. Your head judge of the event will be Tim Rayburn. The prize support will be 50% of the entry fees MINUS the cost of draft product and special promos. The first place finisher of each 6-12 player draft pod will get 60% of the player half of the pool, and the second place player will get 40% of the pool. In case of simultaneous removal, finishing place will be determined by a die roll. If we get enough players we will seat multiple 8 player draft pods, each prized individually so there would be multiple First Place and Second Place finishers. If we seat one 8 player draft, then this event will make APPROXIMATELY $108 for the NYLO Staff, $73 for First Place, and $43 for second place.
