Material Handler - Cycle Count Restocker

Demco Inc. is the leading direct marketer of supplies and equipment to libraries and schools. We are currently looking for a 1st Shift Cycle Count/Restocker. The hours are 6:30 am-3:00 pm.In this position, you will have the following responsibilities:Perform a daily cycle count on designated inventory, physically counting inventory and entering counts in a live cycle count program Replenish products from the warehouse into the primary pick area in a timely and accurate mannerRotate product in bins and keep shelves picker-friendly Complete documentation or computer transactions to track product and workflow Maintain distribution center efficiency with slotting and organization Perform other inventory and distribution center functions as requestedQualifications: Prior forklift/order picker experience Experience picking and preparing orders for shipment Experience completing computer transactions Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally Ability to stand for 6-8 hours per day Ability to use both hands for fine manipulation, grasping, pushing and pulling At least 1 year of inventory/distribution center experience Ability to work comfortably in high places In addition to a progressive wage plan, Demco offers a wide variety of family-friendly benefits to aid in your personal and professional growth.
