Westfield Library patrons can borrow from 3 area libraries

(February 10,2021) The Westfield Memorial Library is currently closed because of a heating issue. While the library is closed, we are very pleased to let you know that the following area libraries have graciously agreed to let residents use their libraries on a limited basis. Services and procedures will vary between libraries. Please call before visiting. We ask that anyone using these libraries remain courteous and respectful of their procedures. All residents using the Curbside services at Clark, Mountainside, and Scotch Plains libraries MUST have a Westfield library card. If you do not have a Westfield library card, you can get one here—Get A Card (wmlnj.org) Clark Public Library You can place items on hold online Clark Public Library - LS2 PAC (clarklibrary.org) Login with your library card and your PIN. If you need assistance with your card information or help to place items on hold, call 732-388-5999. You will be called when your items are ready to be picked up. Your items are not ready until you receive this phone call. Pick Up Procedures: When you arrive at the library to pick up your items, please call 732-388-5999 to let a staff member know you are outside. To keep this a contact-free service, please wear a mask when going to the table. A staff member will then bring your items to the table outside the library for you to retrieve. Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 9:30am-5pm Tuesday & Thursday 9:30am-6:30pm Saturday 9:30am-1:30pm Mountainside Public LibraryRequests for materials and guidelines on Curbside procedures can be fulfilled by calling 908-233-0115. Scotch Plains Public Library Requests for materials can placed by phone: call 908-322-5007. You will not be able to place holds via their website. You will be notified by email or by phone when your items are ready and you can call the library to schedule a pickup day and time. Pickup times are: Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 11am–1pm & 2pm–4pm Tuesday, Thursday: 2pm–4pm & 5pm–7pm Saturday: 10:30am–12:30pm & 2pm-4pm Once you have arranged a pickup day & time, your items will be available for pickup on a table near the library's front entrance. The items will be in a sealed bag marked with your last name and first initial, checked out to you, with checkout receipt in the bag.
