Job Summary Overview:
The Asbestos Foreman responsibilities entail the direct supervision of asbestos field worker and project and site supervision and maintenance of the removal of hazardous material. The foreman is responsible for the daily functions of proper abatement in accordance with OSHA, AQMD and other regulatory agencies.
Major Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions):
· Able to supervise field workers and trainees
· Able to supervise and manage projects in both commercial and residential
· Able to communicate fluently and efficiently with field workers, office staff, customers and regulatory agencies
· Able to interpret and practice industry standards and regulations
· Able to complete job forms (Waste Manifest, Air Sample Data Sheet, Time Cards, Daily Foreman Activity Report, Material Usage Sheet, etc.)
· Complete and perform abatement in a timely and efficient manner
· Attend training as needed
· Drive company vehicle to and from job sites and maintain good driving record
· Provide efficient, diplomatic, and professional, customer service
· Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned by supervisors
Position Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:
Minimum 2 years experience
Asbestos and OSHA Certification required for jobs
Complete background investigation
Reading and comprehension skills
Write and communicate effectively in English
