A quarterly art journaling workshop! In each workshop, Cappie brings a NEW topic and lesson to grow your journaling practice. Art journaling does not have to be expensive or complicated. Join us for one of the most forgiving ways to make art—with everything safely within your own personal book. It’s a space where you can let loose and explore with colors, shapes, lines, and writing all at once. Some journals are more free-form and expressive, others are more of a “finished” art product on each page. What is this one thing you need to know about art journaling? You need to know there are NO RULES! Your art journal is a place for creative expression—where you do absolutely whatever makes you happy and toss all reservation out the window. Don’t worry about if it’s good enough—it's about enjoying the process. Art journaling is an easy way to help you connect with your inner artist and awaken your creative gifts! ​ Supply List: • white gesso • black gesso • various acrylic paint colors • various brushes • matte medium • various papers or pictures • an art journal with mixed media paper Optional Supplies: • gloss medium • soft gel medium • stencils Cappie will have some extra "stuff" you can use in the workshop for a small fee.
