We are a logistics company located in Hanahan and we are searching for a Yard Dog Operator to add to our team! The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of recent Yard Dog experience. This is a full time position. The hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-5:00pm and Fridays 8am-4pm. Job duties include, but are not limited to the following: Complete a pre and post-operational checklist for each shift. Ensure all safety equipment and devices are in place and working properly. Accurately check the quantity and description of the materials handled. Check trailers to make sure they are safe to use and properly locked when necessary. Ensure materials are properly unitized and marked. Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed Move trailers into docks or specific location. Couple and uncouple tractor-trailer units and connecting and disconnecting brake lines as needed. Complete paperwork associated with the movement of materials in an accurate and timely manner. Qualifications: Must have 2 years experience as a yard dog Must have a clean background Must have a clean MVR Must be able to pass a drug test
