Tybee Vacation Rentals (TVR) is seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our growing team! This is a full-time, year-round position primarily responsible for completing work orders at our vacation properties. This includes troubleshooting and repairing interior and exterior issues including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. The Maintenance Technician will encounter and communicate professionally with guests, homeowners, and vendors and will perform all duties and responsibilities with exceptional caring and genuine guest service upholding Tybee Vacation Rentals' standards and culture. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: -Handle property service requests and work orders, correcting issues within 24 hours when possible -Assess and repair interior and exterior issues including electrical, carpentry, locksmithing, drywall, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and painting -Troubleshoot in-home technology, including TVs and Wi-Fi -Utilize company software to provide accurate, detailed, and timely information on work completed -Interact with guests, property owners, employees, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner -Monitor and report inventory needs of maintenance vehicles and supplies -Maintain a clean, well-stocked company maintenance vehicle -Meet productivity expectations in accordance with company and department goals -Maintain a clean, safe work environment to include company facilities and rental properties Benefits: -Competitive pay (based on experience) and flexible schedules -Medical, dental, vision, life, and supplemental insurance -Retirement savings plan -Paid time-off and holidays -Flexible schedule Requirements: -Minimum two (2) years' experience in maintenance, preferably with residential properties or relatable service environment -Knowledgeable of common repair issues found in rental homes -Able to handle the stress of a high-demand hospitality environment -Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and time management skills -Willing to work on-call on a rotational basis and respond to/resolve after-hours emergencies -A passion for delivering exceptional customer satisfaction -Demonstrate a high degree of integrity, confidentiality, and independence -Must have reliable transportation and a working smartphone -Must authorize and successfully pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle review (MVR) prior to employment Competencies: -Demonstrated ability to perform all skills expected of a Maintenance Technician -Replaces switches and outlets, including GFCIs -Basic carpentry skills- stair treads, porch decking, etc. -Drywall patching -Intermediate diagnostic skills- HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances -Mounting TVs and other fixtures About the Company: Over the last 21 years, TVR has evolved into the largest short-term property management company in the area based on our investment in exceptional people and technology.
