Description

The shifting of seasons is considered the most powerful times on the planet. Be part of this powerful entry into Spring. Last fall we had over 50 people join us on top of Monks Mound at the Cahokia Mounds World Heritage Site. Join us again for spring...Jaime Sanchez of WEST EAST YOGA, Lisa Grezlak of SVOUND and AUM STL for a powerful sunrise ceremony honoring the Spring Equinox. You will participate in a Mayan ceremony of honoring Mother Earth, gentle ground yoga movements, and sound healing that includes hand drums, a 32" planetary gong, and crystal singing bowls. ***Open to the public*** No experience required. The Mayan ceremony has been handed down for generations and honors the planet, humanity and the rise of higher consciousness on the planet. The shifting of seasons is a powerful time on the planet. We will be at the sacred and world-renowned Cahokia Mounds in Illinois (right across the river from STL city.) This is our 3rd year we are collaborating to offer the community this very special event. Bring your yoga mat, blanket, sleeping bag and dress in layers. The sun rising, the burning of sage, the hand drums, the honoring, ...it's a special time and we hope you can join us. The view from the MOUNDS are incredible...and you can see St. Louis skyline...it's really beautiful at sunrise and you can get a hint of what life once was like...just depending on the earth and the sun and stars above. ____________________ SCHEDULE: 6-6:30am Ceremony 6:30-7:30am Restorative Yoga (Bring Yoga mat / dress in layers!) 7:30-8:30am Soundbath (Bring 1 or 2 blankets) -- it's cooler at that elevation and time of morning!!)
