Dozens Nabbed For Speeding In Davidson, Vehicle Stolen: DPD

DAVIDSON, NC — More than two dozen drivers received speeding tickets this week in Davidson. At least five crimes were reported to town police this week, including three assaults, a larceny and a stolen vehicle, according to the most recent DPD blotter. DPD wrote 58 tickets this past week, 40 percent of which were issued on Griffith Street. The street proved to be a hotspot for drivers going over the speed limit. Nearly half of the 28 speeding citations issued in town this past week for speeding were issued on Griffith Street.
