Personal Assistant/Housekeeper

We are looking for a personal assistant/housekeeper to work in our home several days a week with the possibility of FT employment in the future. The ideal candidate with be organized, reliable, honest, hard-working, and a good problem-solver. Pay is dependent on your experience. Qualifications and responsibilities: 1. English speaking and able to work in the US legally. 2. Able to provide excellent references and clear background check. 3. Honest, trustworthy and able to keep information in confidence. 4. Ability to follow directions and feel comfortable asking questions as needed. 5. Responsible and reliable-show up for work on time and as scheduled. 6. Supervise vendors, ensuring they are doing their assigned work. *Checking hours to ensure hours submitted are accurate for payment 7. Reliable car *Contact and schedule vendors, making sure they show up as scheduled and pointing out necessary work needed to be done. Vendors report to you. 8. Able to develop a routine to improve systems for efficiency. 9. Develop and maintain organization 10. Create a list of necessary items/supplies required to prevent shortages 11. Order, pick-up or return items as needed 12. Ok running errands, using own vehicle on occasion. 13. Able to work alone and prioritize daily tasks. 14. Inspect all of the work areas/rooms daily to ensure that there are no problems which will need repair. 15. Able to lift up to 40 pounds without any physical restriction. 16. Develop and maintain calendar of tasks and ensure they are done. 17. Create and develop a quality vendor list and call vendors as needed to ensure the work areas are maintained. 18. Follow-up on bills to be paid for vendors and ensure payment is done in a timely manner. 19. Able to effectively screen calls and visitors. 20. Able to cover all duties when we are out of town, especially in an emergency. 21. Must love animals, and dogs in particular. 22. Care for all aspect of the home-clean clothes, wash windows/floors, dusting, mopping, laundry and so on. 23. Develop task list weekly. 24. Must have a pleasant disposition and be able to communicate effectively. 25. Other duties as assigned.
