Description
A Commercial Real Estate group that owns, renovates, operates & manages commercial property is currently recruiting for a Commercial Building Assistant Engineer.
Duties include:
Engineering maintenance for commercial building operations in the West Hollywood area.
Daily building inspections.
Manage daily building operations not limited to plumbing, HVAC systems and electrical.
The ability to trouble-shoot problems that may arise.
Ability to provide superior customer relations through positive interaction with
tenants and responsive action in addressing their needs.
Ability to interact with vendors and suppliers so as to ensure that the best possible product and service is provided.
Providing emergency on-call services for assigned buildings.
Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
3 to 5 years experience as a general commercial building engineer.
A minimum of 2 years HVAC experience on commercial buildings.
General mechanical knowledge is required.
Working knowledge of different types of equipment and tools.
Ability to provide superior customer relations through positive interaction with tenants and responsive action in addressing their needs.
Ability to interact with vendors and suppliers so as to ensure that the best possible product and service is provided.
Reliable transportation, a valid Drivers License, with a clean driving record.
Must be able to read, write and communicate verbally in English.
Must be a team player with can do approach with projects and the ability to manage multiple tasks & meet deadlines.
Working computer knowledge.
