Get In Shape While Saving the Planet! Break it Down is a rapidly growing composting and recycling business. We provide services to over 600 businesses and offices in and around Austin. We are currently hiring a FULL-TIME WAREHOUSE WORKER. This position requires physical labor. This is hard, sweaty, dirty work. This job will change your body - you will get stronger, you will get in shape! Requirements for this position include: - You must be at least 18+ years of age - Operational smartphone that can be used throughout the day for taking/sending photos, communicating via text and email. - Reliable transportation to and from work (our hours do not work well with most bus lines) - Forklift experience is a plus but not required. (we do certify our employees) Responsibilities of this position include: - Unloading 100lb+ barrels of food waste & recyclables from 26’ box trucks - Dumping and sorting through food waste and removing contamination - Rinsing barrels and roll-carts in our rinse station - Baling cardboard and loading bales onto a 52’ trailer - Keeping stations clean and organized Pay for this position starts at $13/hour + benefits after 90 days of employment. Shifts for this full-time position are 40 hrs, starting at 8 am with at least one weekend day shift.
