Description
Now accepting applications for a traveling laborer position! Rocky Mountain Development is an excavation company that specializes in public area construction. We travel to beautiful parks and campgrounds in Colorado and New Mexico and install various features in parks and campgrounds. Primarily we install precast concrete restroom buildings, and the various trails, tables, fire pits, and other features that go with them. This is a support position for a 2-3 man crew. Typically, the crew will be dispatched from the Denver area and drive either a pickup or a dump truck and trailer to remote locations, excavate a hole, install a building, and other features, and then head home. You can live wherever but usually have to leave from Denver. Most projects are two to five days and, depending on location, require one to four nights a week away. There is a lot of driving. Once on site, tasks vary based on the job but generally include layout, digging, moving materials and tools, loading and unloading trucks, mini excavator and skid steer work, and crane work. This will be a great job for a hardworking, adventurous, outdoors type person that wants to explore the state while being paid. Pay depends on experience and capability. Expect long days and a lot of driving. If overnight stay is required your hotel and meals are paid for. Must have a driver license with reasonably good record, CDL-A is a big plus. No smoking on jobs due to fire danger. Sorry, can’t bring pets. This is a real job and were looking to hire as soon as possible. If you are ready, willing, and able, to do this job please send an email with your qualifications and experience and attach an application or resume if you have one. Mention if you have experience with any of the following: surveying, landscaping, outdoor construction, Geotech, operating heavy equipment, concrete flatwork, crane work, CDL driving, excavating, or other relevant work.
