Description

Just got out of a working cover band of 4 years in August. You can find that band on Facebook Rockin the Burbs band there is video, pics and a current set list posted. I formed that band in 2016 gigged out about 2x a month. I’ve got lots of stage experience 20+ years playing in bands. I’m retired 62 years old and have time to do this full time. I do not have any age requirements other you must be mature and professional. I do work with other bands and venues doing sound and lights as a freelance sound man. I don’t dick around while at the gig not a drinker 420 friendly but I get along with most folks and socialize at the gig. I like to gig a least 2x a month or more and the band I want to be in will be doing gigs regularly per month. I like to rehearse once a week possibly more if doing originals. I don’t like rehearsals on Monday if at all possible. I’m open most days and most nights. I can rehearse during the day time if that’s an option. I don’t like to rehearse more than 3 hours per day with the band. My expectations are that everyone is competent in there instruments. You don’t pay rent to rehearse. You’re a working cohesive band. You book consistent gigs every month. I live in Broomfield and I don’t want to drive far just to rehearse or at times of the day that put me in rush hour traffic. Constructive rehearsals not lasting for hours everyone does there homework. Everyone helps load in and out. No dicking around at the gigs. I’m looking for the right fit musically, band mates that get along well, plays the music I’m interested in doing and be mature and professional. I play lead and rhythm and can also play bass and keys. I can play in drop D, open G, E flat and standard tunings. I Play Gibson, Fender, Ibanez, Kramer guitars. Amps I have a Fender super twin and a Acoustic combo amps. Efx RP 1000 pedal board. I prefer these days not use an amp and go directly to the mixer I monitor my sound from IEMs. I can sing backups and harmony and can sing lead on a few songs. I can sing up to a high A for backups. I own a mic SM 58. I use IEMs for my monitor and can supply my own wireless system to hook up to any sound mixer. I’m looking to play in a 4 or 5 piece cover band playing rock cover songs from 70s to 2020 popular songs but I prefer newer songs than older over played songs. I’ll consider a tribute band that is guitar driven and something I’d be interested in doing. If your forming a band I’ll consider that to as a last resort with open and hard working people but overall would like to find a good working band that meets all my desired expectations. One last thing I’m Covid compliant I wear a mask and expect the same. I’ve had it and my wife nearly pasted from it in December not looking to be around nonbelievers. No political hacks and religious groups need respond however I will respond to all who are interested in talking. Thanks Tim
