WHAT'S THE JOB? Our company is looking to hire people to serve as registered agents on behalf of the companies that register through our software. A registered agent is a person that agrees to accept “service of process” papers on behalf of a company. It’s the person who gets “served” a lawsuit when a company gets sued. Your job is simple: be physically present at an address of your choosing and accept legal documents if someone comes to your address. You are not responsible for recruiting companies or selling people to use our product. You will be assigned companies as people use our product. WHO ARE WE? WizForm empowers small business owners by making company formation easy. WizForm helps entrepreneurs form companies through accurate filings, education about choices, and transparency. Check out our website to learn more about us: WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? --18 years or older. --Must be a resident of the state you are a registered agent in. --Must have a physical address (not a PO box). --Must be present at the address provided more than 95% of the time from Monday-Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM throughout the year. If someone travels a lot or has to be at another address during the day, this job isn’t a good fit. --Must have plans to be at the same address for at least the next 12 months. --Must be extremely organized and responsive when it comes to mail and e-mail. --You must be willing to answer your door when people knock during the hours of 8:00 AM-5:00 PM from Monday-Friday. Our interview process will focus on your organization skills, how responsive you are, and if you actually are present at your address during the hours required for this job. WHAT'S THE PAY? We will pay a registered agent $200 per month. This job is not a full-time job and you are welcome to have another job as long as you are at the address you provide us during the hours listed above and you can vouch that you will be there more than 95% of the time.
