Bunnies are not low maintenance pets, they require space to run, and have a specific diet. https://myhouserabbit.com/rabbit-care/care-pet-rabbit/ We require that you have a bunny habitat set up prior to adoption and that you research owning bunnies before you adopt. i.e. the amount of space they need, their dietary requirements etc. If you send me your email address I still email you the adoption contract to look over. The adoption donation is $115. This includes spay/neuter. However, we do not fix senior bunnies because it just isn’t safe for the bunny. Spay/neuter is important for many reasons. First and most importantly bunnies are susceptible to reproductive cancer. Bunnies that are fixed have calmer temperaments and are MUCH easier to litter-box train. Once the adoption contract, photos/videos of your bunny habitat and the adoption donation are received, and we have done a phone interview to verify your bunny knowledge then we will put you in touch with the foster mom/dad to schedule pickup.
