Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Diagnoses physical plant, technical and mechanical problems and facilitates repairs while performing routine minor repairs. • Coordinates and oversees building, electrical and plumbing projects with outside vendors as appropriate. • Oversees safety program and maintains preventative maintenance management program • Monitor Fire System, Sprinkler System and Door Entry System operation and maintenance • Maintenance and beautification of facility • Makes prompt effort to resolve all resident and staff concerns or grievances related to facilities and conditions under their direction. • Trains other staff members in the operation of emergency systems • Safeguards the privacy of residents. • All daily tasks are logged in the company’s work order tool (currently HIPPO) Physical Demands and Environment May be required to respond to critical issues on a 24/7 basis. Employee may be required to sit, bend, stoop, see, talk and hear. May occasionally lift medium to heavy objects. Employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals Minimum Qualifications • High School graduate or equivalent • Must have valid NC driver’s license • Minimum three years of maintenance experience
