We have a great career opportunity for a knowledgeable Landscape Technician who has a good understanding of planting bushes, tree trimming and sprinkler systems. Possesses good communication skills, can lead a small crew and can complete work orders. Minimum of two years’ experience with property management landscape maintenance. Must be able to operate landscaping equipment and meet physical requirements of the job. Primary responsibilities: • Perform grounds keeping and building maintenance duties. • Cut lawn using hand or riding mower, trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls. • Plant flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes. • Apply pesticide to rid grounds of pests such as mosquitos, wasps, ticks, and others. • Perform repairs to irrigation system and controllers. • Sweep walkway of debris and pick up trash if needed. • Cut down tree limbs that are posing a danger. • Trim shrubs, pull weeds, rake, mulch, prune, apply fertilizer • Install rock, lighting, lawn furniture. • Knowledge of sprinkler systems and proper watering of landscape.
