Fuel Transportation Company seeking an immediate opening for a Diesel Mechanic for our Facility in Riverside, Ca Job Description: The position of Diesel Mechanic performs necessary tasks under the supervision of the Fleet Foreman. The purpose of the position is to maintain and repair all Pacific Tank Lines, Inc. vehicles. This position requires comprehensive working knowledge of all mechanical systems, as well as knowledge of rules and regulations mandated by local authorities as well as CHP, DOT and the FMCSA. Diesel Mechanic Essential Functions/Responsibilities: ** Perform DOT and BIT inspections that meet standards set by CHP. ** Create and record duties performed on daily work orders. ** Perform repairs of various truck & tanker components that could include troubleshooting, Diagnostics, R&R, AC etc. **Considerable knowledge of Mechanical Tools **Must be Self Motivated **Able to work with Minimum Supervision Skills Required: ** 1 year experience in diesel truck repair (tanker experience a plus) **Multitask in a fast paced environment **Clean DMV **Must possess own tools **Great communication skills ** Have knowledge of all mechanical systems concerning diesel powered engines and general knowledge of rules Position Benefits: **Medical, Dental, and Vision after 60 Days **Vacation after 1 year **401K & Profit Sharing after 1 Year **Direct Deposit
