and I can do anything. anything includes but is not limited to... a killer Jim Morrison impersonation. I'm looking to start a Doors tribute band here in OKC. i'll be Jim, but i still need the rest of the group. current open positions are: Guitar, Drums, Organ, and possibly bass. You dont need to look like Robby Krieger or Ray Manzarek or John Densmore, but i'm gonna go ahead and do the whole JM persona...with leather pants, a linen, etc. Interested musicians should be very familiar with the Doors catalog when replying, as i need this band to be extremely tight and good. I want to do the Doors material as it was written on the albums, but with a healthy dose of spontaneity and improv in live performances, which is authentic to the original group. I am confident i can get us gigs in OKC, and with an eye towards casinos and better paying venues around the state and beyond as time goes on and we get wicked good. i'm 100 percent serious. i know what i'm doing with this thing, and i know it can be successful. there will be mandatory rehearsals, i have a place downtown where we can meet. there won't be any insane scheduling or crazy long/late hours, you dont have to quit you other gig. but there will be focused rehearsal, where everyone comes prepared and each meeting is productive and advances us towards our goal. serious inquiries only please.
