We are a Lighting and Electrical Contractor Company looking for experienced Technicians on a part-time of full-time basis. Our company is responsible for the upkeep of commercial property lighting, ie: shopping centers, business parks and retail locations. This is a field-based position with on-site trouble-shooting. The right candidate will succeed in Levels 1 and 2 of technician training (Level 3 and 4 are welcome to apply): Level 1 - Replacing lamps, ballasts, capacitors, photo controls and time clocks in HOA's and easy-level commercial properties Level 2 - Level 1 required in addition to: Installing new fixtures, replacing lamps, ballasts, caps in dealerships and difficult-level commercial properties Assist with Special Projects and Retro-fits. Sign Work - basic troubleshooting. Level 3 - Level 1 and 2 required in addition to: Advanced troubleshooting, locating and repairing of electrical faults. Sign Work - Advanced troubleshooting. Lollipop pole repair. Gas Price Sign Troubleshooting. Parking Lot Pole Troubleshooting. Level 4 - Level 1, 2 and 3 required in addition to: Underground Electrical Fault locating and repairing. Troubleshooting and repairing missing legs of electrical circuits, rewiring, working with utility companies from the originating transformer. Working with Special Projects Manager for sawcuts, underground boring, new pole with caisson installation. (We hire 3rd parties for caissons). Candidates with less than 2 years experience will not be considered. The right candidate will apply extensive knowledge in the following fields: Lighting Components: Neon, LED, CFL, Fluorescent, ballasts, controls, etc. Electrical Circuits, Panels and Controls - Low and High Voltage Commercial Signage Troubleshooting and repairing (all of the above) as well as underground faults Bucket Truck and Lift operation OSHA Safety Requirements Requirements of the job: Furnish their own tools Valid Drivers License (CDL not required) Transportation to the warehouse (work trucks are not driven home) Work from Boom Lift and Various Ladder Heights We are looking for a intermediate level tech that is ready to hit the field and requires minimal training. Benefits packages available to full-time hires after 90 day period. Salary negotiations are based on experience levels (listed above) References required. In-Person Interviews will include a light electrical-practical test to verify skill levels. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
