Description
I was looking for an experienced mechanic to help me out.
I’m stranded.
I have a 1992 Damon challenger Motorhome. It is powered by a big-block Chevy 454. The power steering (and brakes) went out on it, and I replaced the power steering pump. (It is a hydro boost system.)
The problem though is that the system is still leaking power steering fluid. This happens when I try to turn the wheel past 90 degrees.
One thing I did not do was replace the power steering hoses. But I did inspect the ones on there and they seem to be good.
I could really use some help because I am somewhat stranded at the moment and want to be able to travel with this Motorhome.
If you’re sure you can help me, I’m willing to offer you $50 an hour if you would be willing to travel over to Swansea, Massachusetts and help me get this problem solved. I’m willing to help assist you in getting the job done as quickly as possible. There are certainly spots where a second pair of hands would be helpful. I know, because I have taken it apart and put it back together twice.
Also, it would be nice to learn all of your mechanic tricks as well, because I’m sure I will need to do more work on this Motorhome in the future.
I have a good supply of tools here as well.
If you would like to help out simply shoot me an email telling me a little about yourself and your experience.
Thanks in advance!
