Large East Rutherford company is looking candidate to fill the following warehouse positions: FLOOR SUPERVISOR Under the guidance and supervision of the Warehouse Manager the Supervisor position is responsible for: - Promoting a strong sense of teamwork and a culture of respect by working together safely, effectively and efficiently with all employees - Ensure that all employees are trained and following all standard operating procedure - Inspecting equipment for quality, rotating inventory and ensuring timely repair of damaged inventory. - Overseeing order packing to ensure that it is packed accurately and that it is protected against possible damage. - Review future inventory needs and manage workflow, consults with Management team as inventory issues arise - Flag all incomplete orders/damaged equipment immediately and consults with Management team for resolutions. - Work warehouse floor, assigning tasks and supervising for completion - Maintains a clean working environment Abilities - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs - Attentiveness to details, problem solving and time management skills - 2 or more years in a Supervisory position - Punctual, dependable and flexible to work schedules - Effective listening and communication skills - Bilingual (Spanish) preferred - Experience using Forklifts and pallet jacks an added plus CARPENTER Duties & Abilities - Maintains good housekeeping practices and performs in a safe and effective manner so as not to inflict injury to self or others - Experienced with safely using common woodworking tools (table saw, radial arm saw, air guns, routers etc.) - Perform task common to woodworking (ie. nailing, stapling, cutting, sanding routing) - Inform management of any hazardous situations in the work environment - Excellent listening skills and able to work independently and with a team - Perform additional functions that are assigned by management team We are an equal opportunity employer.
