My name is Leza and I'm a learning coach, here to support your child at every stage of their education. I finished my bachelor’s in Biology at Cornell and since then completed my Master’s in Child Development at Haifa University in Israel. Ever since, I’ve been simultaneously teaching English, relaxation strategies, and yoga to kids. I offer individualized learning coaching for success as well as regular homework and exam support. My goal is to help your child or teenager find the strategies that lessen the load of their school life, and find balance in that relationship. Once they have a strong base in middle school and high school, kids usually find it easier to succeed in college and in their independent lives. Since the pandemic, I have seen in an increase in the gap between teacher’s expectations and what children can manage themselves. I have also seen an increase in anxiety, stress, and worry in young teens as they struggle to balance school demands with the pressures of becoming a young adult. In our meetings, we would discuss how to manage these concerns in a supportive atmosphere. I’m currently offering meetings mainly in my quiet home in Kaneohe (some Zoom-based online coaching) Tutoring Specializations: Elementary School Math, Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Biology, Science, Chemistry, College Applications, Admissions Essays, SAT/ACT Test Prep My rate is hourly due at the time of service or a package of 10 or 20 lessons Let’s meet, relax, and get to work
