Large food distribution company is seeking professional, hard-working, and punctual workers for in-house picking & packing of inventory for orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Multiple opportunities available. Offering PAID TRAINING! Hiring Immediately! LOCATION: Bronx, New York SHIFTS: 5:00 AM to completion (Shift 1), 5:30 PM to completion (Shift 2) JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Able to withstand long periods of standing time, working in a 320 F. environment - Good physical strength and stamina – ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs. - MUST be able to work Weekends (mandatory) - Read and write in English - Proven experience as an Order Picker (or other warehouse positions), and working with/using voice picking systems or RF devices - Must complete a drug test and background check RESPONSIBILITIES: - Picking food products for delivery within the delivery time window, scanning products, packaging for shipment, stocking inventory, etc. - Push, lift, carry heavy items/carts in various temperature locations
