Have you been feeling down or depressed OR have you ever felt down or depressed? Researchers at McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA are seeking participants for a study examining brain activity and depression. If eligible to participate, you can earn up to $100. We are seeking right-handed individuals who are between the ages of 18-45 years old, and have struggled with depression at any point in their lives. The study includes 1 session and a total time commitment of up to 4 hours. Individuals who have taken any psychotropic medications or engaged in psychotherapy during the last two weeks will not be eligible. During the study, you will be interviewed by a psychologist, have an EEG assessment, provide saliva samples, and fill out questionnaires.
