Great full-time entry level position with benefits available. Local environmental laboratory is looking to expand business by adding a full time position to their team. Daily work location is located in Taft, CA. This team member will split duties in three areas: as a field technician assisting in the sampling and collection of field samples, as a courier picking up client samples and as a member of the general office staff. Applicant should be comfortable driving up to four hours round trip. A company vehicle will be provided. Applicant may be subject to random drug testing and must possess a clean DMV report. Applicant should have a flexible and open schedule. High School Diploma required. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Position involves reading, writing and communicating with clients in English. Position is full time upon hire. Vacation, medical and retirement benefits available after probation period. Working days are Monday-Friday. Typical working shift is from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Occasional overtime required which may include starting shifts 2 hours earlier or ending 2 hours later. -Experience in field sampling a plus but not required. Employer will provide training. -College degree and/or completion of relevant science and environmental courses a plus but not required. -Oilfield experience of any kind a plus but not required. -Completion of and current oilfield passport training, HAZWOPER and first aid/CPR training a plus but not required.
