Job Description This full time position involves all aspects of landscaping maintenance and installation. Typical daily duties include: -Turf mowing -Shrub/tree pruning -Weeding of garden areas -Maintenance of indoor plantings -Installation of trees, shrubs, and annuals -Inspection of plant material at job sites -Irrigation Maintenance -Pesticide applications Qualifications -Be 18 years of age or older -Louisiana Landscape Horticulturist License (preferred) -Landscaping experience -Ready to work hard in weather conditions (heat, cold etc.) -Excellent communication skills -Horticulture knowledge and standards of pruning, planting, digging, and mulching -A solid work ethic and good teamwork skills -Skills in various gardening techniques and equipment -Knowledge and ability to use landscape related tools (i.e. mowers, trimmers, blowers. etc.) -High school degree is preferred -A valid driver license and a clean driving record -Ability to read and write
