Description
MEDFORD, MA — Attempted "intrusions" have caused internet connectivity issues for students in recent days, the Medford Public Schools said. This has resulted in guest Wi-Fi networks being temporarily disabled.
"We understand the disruption this has caused both our students and staff," the district said in a statement.
Schools are working with their internet service providers to restore all networks to full capacity. Students and staff will receive additional guidance to ensure they are easily able to register their devices on functioning networks.
District-owned devices should not be impacted by the outages, provided they are properly configured for use on the appropriate networks.
