Medford To Update Public On 16 Parks, Open Space Projects

MEDFORD, MA — The city will hold a public meeting Wednesday, Feb. 17, during which 16 parks and open space projects will be discussed. Officials will provide an update on parks currently undergoing or scheduled for renovations, gather feedback from residents and discuss community engagement methods for these and future projects. "Medford's abundant parks and open spaces are some of the many assets that set the city apart as a wonderful place to live and work," a statement from the city reads. "Many residents have been involved with the city's planning efforts to improve and protect open space and recreation opportunities in the city of Medford, most recently with the 2019 update to the city's Open Space and Recreation Plan." The meeting will consolidate some of the projects that are underway into a single meeting, provide updates and seek feedback, identify where there is a need for additional engagement and inform preferred methods of reaching interested parties.
