Arlington Winter Storm: Hybrid Learning Gets Out Early

ARLINGTON, MA — Students participating in hybrid learning will be released early Tuesday as another snowstorm is expected to hit the area. All schools will be dismissed at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Arlington Public Schools. Any elementary programs that run between 1:45 and 2:30 p.m. are canceled, while Remote Academy will have a regular school day. Menotomy Preschool will have a regular school dismissal time. Elementary after-school programs will remain open – the director of the AASP will notify families of their dismissal time. Snowfall is expected to begin between 8 a.m.-10 a.m. in central Massachusetts and 10 a.m.-noon in eastern Massachusetts. It's expected to continue for about 12 hours, with the heaviest of it coming between 2 p.m.-7 p.m. Widespread accumulating snow across southern New England today into tonight.
