This position is responsible for assisting customers with the restoration of their home after a major water damage. A water technician's main objective is to remove as much water as possible from the home using extraction methods. The technician will then evaluate building materials to be salvaged or removed. The technician will set up equipment in order to control the humidity in the environment until the areas are deemed dry. We are hiring for both experienced and entry-level technicians. We will train the right candidate. Building construction and demo experience is a plus!! Job Duties: Inspect, evaluate, and document water damaged properties. Document damage on moisture mapping software. Remove standing water from the affected area using extraction methods. Setup appropriate amounts of equipment to dry structure. Remove affected building materials when deemed non-salvageable. Technicians will be required to participate on an on-call rotation for emergency services. Qualifications: Valid Drivers License. Clean driving record. Reliable transportation. Pass a criminal background check. Strong work ethic. Bilingual a plus! Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to work long/late hours and maintain a positive attitude. Computer literate. Strong communication skills.
