GERMANTOWN, MD — Montgomery County will be hosting a free online event focused on mental health and the COVID-19 pandemic. The discussion — scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 10 — is part of a series called "Healing and Holding On - One Conversation at a Time for the Community." These virtual meetings are held every other Wednesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. No registration is required. During the conversation, participants will work together to address the different types of losses they felt during the pandemic and learn about strategies to manage stress and move forward. Sarah Moore, a therapist with the county's Department of Health and Human Services, will lead the conversation. Click here to access the virtual meeting, or view it live on County Cable Montgomery and the county's Facebook page. Join us on Wednesday, Feb. 10 for an online conversation focused on Grieving What We Lost in 2020 and Finding Ways to Move Forward in 2021. @MontgomeryCoMD Find more information here, https://t.co/FVxEdiIrfd pic.twitter.com/UnANgU2mdB— Montgomery County DHHS (@MoCoDHHS) February 2, 2021
