NEW MILFORD, CT — According to the state Department of Public Health, a total of 2,191 New Milford residents have received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine. There are 26,805 residents and 8 percent of them have received their first dose. New Milford has 1,498 residents over the age of 75 and 754 of them have received their first dose or 50 percent, according to state health officials. Since the pandemic began in March, New Milford has reported 1,653 cases and 32 deaths.
