WATERBURY, CT - Kevin Berghorn, DPT, OCS, MTC has joined the team of physical therapists at the Sharon Road office of Select Physical Therapy. He began working with Select Physical Therapy in September of 2020. Kevin holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy/Therapist from Quinnipiac University; he also carries a certification in manual therapy and is an orthopaedic certified specialist. He was born and raised in Warwick, RI and has held a license to practice physical therapy in the state of Connecticut since 2013. In its February 2013 issue, an article Kevin was able to partake in writing was published in Manual Therapy, entitled "Utilization of mobilization with movement for an apparent sprain of the posterior talofibular ligament: A case report." He completed a Manual Therapy Certificate through Evidence in Motion in 2018, and his orthopedic specialty boards in 2018. As a physical therapist, Kevin notes that he brings an elevated level of energy and calm personality to the patients he treats. He enjoys treating patients from all walks of life and is experienced in aquatic therapy, which is offered only at the Waterbury location at 117 Sharon Road.
