Need 1-2 people to join remodel construction crew We are expanding our small crew in the coming week, hoping to add 1 or 2 new members to the team We are looking to add either an assistant crew member, or a project lead (possibly both) So the rate of pay could be anywhere from $22-35 an hour depending on skill level and previous experience. We are a small construction company based here in Seattle. We perform a lot of kitchen and bathroom remodels as well as light commercial renovations. Preference will be given to those who already know how to do things like *Paint (with roller or sprayer) *Framing, sheeting, installing doors and windows, siding *Cut and install tile for kitchens and bathrooms *Hang drywall, mud and tape, *Light plumbing work or switching fixtures Bonus skills would include: *Previous experience managing a small team to complete remodel projects *General knowledge of reading plans *Coordinating with subcontractors *Keeping records, taking progress photos *Ability to use an organization app on phone or PC (we can train on this) We are actually looking to add 2 new people to the team so it’s possible that one person will be more skilled and the other would be an assistant or apprentice. Let us know which of these two better describes your ability and experience. We have a couple of company vehicles, so a DL and good record is something that would be beneficial. We have company tools, so you don’t need to have a full set of your own tools, but you’re welcome to use some of your own if you prefer. A set of bags and hand tools would probably be a good thing to bring. Days start early at the shop in S. Seattle and from there you get paid to drive to the job site. We also knock off by early afternoons most days. Occasionally we work on a Sat to meet a deadline, but you would get extra for that and we give bonuses on jobs that come in well under budget. If you’re looking to learn more about the industry, we are open to training someone with the right attitude and energy. This could be a great opportunity to gain experience and new levels of responsibility as you move up the ranks with us Most importantly you need to have a positive “can do” attitude, know how to communicate with others, and have some hustle. Since this is a small company, you should be willing to motivate yourself into action without having to be told to do every little thing. You will see the owner of the company cleaning up a jobsite, so there’s none of the “that isn’t MY job” attitude here.
