We are Hare Creek Nursery and Power Equipment Inc. and have been in business for 40 years. We provide the coast with their entire nursery and power equipment needs. Hare Creek provides excellent customer service as well as a quality product. We are looking for a small engine mechanic that is a team player with excellent customer service skills. Hare Creek is looking for someone who can multi-task when things get busy and also who can work independently and keep themselves active when things slow down. We are typically very busy in the spring and summer months and slow down considerably in the fall and winter months. This employee will inspect, service and repair motorized power equipment. Mechanics tasks vary in complexity and difficulty. Ideally this employee will come to us with the mechanical and troubleshooting skills needed to repair engine components and systems. This employee must have customer service skills, be detail orientated, have dexterity and the eagerness to learn. Day to Day Duties may include but are not limited to: • Perform routine engine maintenance • Test and inspect engines for malfunctioning parts • Repair or replace worn, defective or broken parts • Reassemble and reinstall components and engines following repairs • Keep records of inspections, test results, work performed and parts used • Discuss equipment issues, maintenance plans and work performed with customers • Check in and check out equipment with customers in computer system • Keep shop and related areas clean and organized • Stock merchandise Wage to match experience.
